Apple and cinnamon bread with a crumbly topping.

Heat your oven to 350°F (175°C) before using it. Put a little oil and flour in a baking pan that measures 9 by 5 inches.

Prepare the crumbly topping: Mix together the flour, white sugar, brown sugar, and cinnamon in a small bowl. Cut the cold butter into small pieces using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture looks like small crumbs. Put aside.

Make the bread mixture: In a bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, and nutmeg.

In a big bowl, mix together the soft butter, white sugar, and brown sugar until it becomes light and fluffy, which should take around 2-3 minutes. Put the eggs in one by one, mixing well after each one. Add the vanilla extract.

Slowly mix the flour with the butter, adding it bit by bit. Also, mix in the sour cream or Greek yogurt, starting and finishing with the flour. Stir until everything is mixed together.

Mix the chopped apples gently into the batter until they are evenly spread.

Put together the bread. Put half of the mixture into the loaf pan that has been prepared. Put half of the crumbly topping on top of the batter. Do the same with the rest of the batter and the crumb topping.

Have fun.
